The Creamline Cool Smashers win the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Champinkship

The Creamline Cool Smashers smashed  their way to earning their breakthrough crown as they sweetly swept PayMaya High Flyers, 25-19, 25-20, 25-11, to reign in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference yesterday at the MOA Arena.

Headed by Coach Tai Bundit, our winners namely Team Captain Alyssa Valdez, Nina Asceric, Coleen Bravo, Risa Sato, Ivy Remulla, Pau Soriano, Kyla Atienza, Jia Morado, Alex Cabanos, Jema Galanza, Rizza Mandapat, Rose Vargas, Kuttika Kaewpin, Michele Gumabao, Mel Gohing, and Laura Schaudt, played with much intensity and power during the season. 

Best Setter winner Jia Morado was named Finals Most Valuable Player after tallying 29 excellent sets for the Cool Smashers. Team Captain Alyssa Valdez bagged the season’s Best Outside Spiker award, while Michele Gumabao grabbed the Best Opposite Spiker title of the season.

Creamline Cool Smashers has been leading in the ranking since the conference started last May 6, 2018 with seven other participating teams—BaliPure, Banko-Perlas, Iriga-Navy, PayMaya, PetroGazz, Pocari Air-Force and Tacloban.

The recent win was the first PVL title for the pink ladies after a pair of third-place finishes last year, in what was their first season in the league.
