Rebisco added another feather to its cap by being part of the latest list of Asia’s Top 1,000 Brands, an annual listing of the most recognizable brands in the Asia-Pacific Region compiled by media and marketing firm Campaign Asia.
Landing the 907th spot overall, Rebisco is one of the 35 Filipino brands included in the said list. In the food category, Rebisco comes out as one of the five most recognizable Filipino food brands. This is the first time Rebisco was named as one of Asia’s Top 1,000 Brands.
The list aggregates data from an online survey developed by Campaign Asia-Pacific and global information and insights provider Nielsen. The survey was conducted from March 16-April 11, 2018. The study explores consumer attitudes in 14 markets: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Research relies on a total of 400 respondents in each market, except Japan, India and China where participants number 800, 1,200 and 2,000 respectively.
The study encompassed 15 major categories (such as restaurants, food, beverage, consumer electronics, home appliances, and household and personal care, among others). Participants were asked what are the two brands they consider the best when talking about a specific category.
Indeed this goes to show that we continue to take both local and global markets by storm!
